Six teens were involved in a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on January 19th in Southern California. Three teens were killed, while the other three suffered moderate injuries.
The teens were in a Toyota Prius that crashed into another vehicle. The Prius then slammed into a tree. Firefighters were successfully able to free some teens out of the car. However, one boy was declared dead at the scene of the accident, while the other two were declared dead at the hospital. There has yet to be information released on whether or not they had seatbelts on. Drug or alcohol tests will be administered on the teens to determine if they were intoxicated.
There was a bystander that followed the suspect, who was driving a Honda Infiniti, and reported the incident to California Highway Patrol. The driver at-fault for the hit-and-run was later arrested.
