According to the OC Register, a man was struck and killed in Stanton on Friday, December 1, 2017.
The car vs. pedestrian accident occurred around 3 a.m. when a car was traveling northbound on Beach Boulevard near Chapman Avenue and a pedestrian walked off a median into traffic and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
The car vs. pedestrian accident remains under investigation.
