According to the OC Register, a driver was killed in a car accident involving multiple vehicles on the 405 Freeway in Westminster on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. The car accident was reported around 2:07 a.m. near Westminster Boulevard. According to authorities, a 2006 Subaru WRX, driven by a 26-year-old Costa Mesa man, hit the back of a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 truck, driven by a 64-year-old Mission Viejo man.
As a result of the impact, the truck overturned and collided with a 2014 Honda Accord and the driver of the truck was partially ejected. The driver of the truck, who has not been identified, died at the scene of the car accident. The two other drivers did not sustain injuries.
