Antes de unirse a Abogados de la Costa Oeste, José se desempeñó como asistente legal judicial para el Honorable David Sotelo del Tribunal Superior del Condado de Los Ángeles, donde adquirió experiencia en una amplia variedad de asuntos legales y de mociones en el sistema judicial más grande del país.

Antes de su pasantía, José ejerció el derecho penal en el sur de California y se especializó en la defensa de clientes indocumentados. Anteriormente trabajó como fiscal adjunto voluntario de la ciudad en la oficina del fiscal de la ciudad de Los Ángeles.

José se graduó de CSUN y la Facultad de Derecho de UCLA. Cuando no está trabajando, disfruta pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos, apoyar a los Dodgers de Los Ángeles y escuchar podcasts.
