According to the San Diego Union Tribune, a 42-year-old woman using a walker was struck by a car in North Park on Monday, September 18, 2017.
The accident happened around 10:40 p.m. in the 2200 block of University Avenue near Louisiana Street.
According to authorities, the woman was crossing the street while pushing a walker, when she was struck by a 60-year-old man in a 2000 BMW Z3 coupe.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital and sustained serious injuries, but she is expected to survive.
The driver of the BMW remained at the scene and cooperated with police.
