Woman killed in Long Beach DUI car accident

According to the Press Telegram, a woman was killed in a DUI car accident in Long Beach on Saturday, January 27, 2018.

The fatal car accident occurred around 7:50 p.m. at the intersection of 8th Street and Euclid Avenue, which involved a blue 2006 Toyota Tacoma and a black 2007 Honda Fit.

According to authorities, Richard Roberts, 53, of Long Beach, was driving under the influence when he slammed into the Honda.

The driver of the Honda, identified as a 49-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital, where she later died.

Roberts was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The fatal car accident remains under investigation.
