Deputy Brandon Longoria Whittier: Police Officer Injured In Car Accident Involving A Drunk Driver
WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA (December 27, 2018) – A deputy identified as Brandon Longoria was injured in a car accident when he was hit by a drunk driver in a Chevy Silverado.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 8:25 p.m. on December 20th. Los Angeles Deputy Brandon Longoria was traveling east on Saragosa Street when he was hit by the Silverado driver that ran a stop sign.
The drunk driver was arrested and is being held on a $100,000 bond. Deputy Brandon Longoria was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, but he is expected to survive.
