Pedestrian Died In Vista Car Accident By State Route 78 By Emerald Drive
VISTA, CALIFORNIA (May 5, 2019) – A pedestrian identified as a 30-year-old male who may have been homeless has tragically died in a car accident not far from the intersection of State Route 78 By Emerald Drive.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 8:20 p.m. A physician witnessed the pedestrian in the roadway after being hit by the car. He began performing CPR.
He was transported to the Palomar Medical Center where he later died due to his injuries. There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident.
