Sylvia Leos Visalia: Woman Seriously Injured and Burned Following Car Accident After Drunk Driver Slammed in Her Bedroom
VISALIA, CALIFORNIA (March 2, 2019) – A mother from Visalia identified as Sylvia Leos was seriously injured after a drunk driver crashed his SUV into her bedroom while she was sitting inside.
The victim’s son Steven Leos heard the crash and came to his mother’s aid after she called him. Sylvia Leos begged the driver to get the vehicle off of her.
To make matters worse the Chevy that the drunk driver was in caught fire and caused the victim to suffer second degree burns to her back and legs.
Sylvia Leos was transported to the hospital in serious condition and the the driver has been arrested and is currently being held on a $125,000 bond. A Go Fund Me page has been set up for Sylvia Leos in order to help with medical bills.
