Liability In Motorcycle Accidents
Many motorcycle accidents occur due to drivers that fail to operate their vehicles according to the prevailing conditions. According to California Vehicle Code 22350, “No person shall drive a vehicle upon a highway at a speed greater than is reasonable or prudent having due regard for weather, visibility, the traffic on, and the surface and width of, the highway, and in no event at a speed which endangers the safety of persons or property.” Driving the speed limit during low visibility or high traffic may very well be reckless. The family of any person that died in an accident may be able to seek justice through California Code of Civil Procedure 377.60.
