Liability In Car Accidents
According to the NHTSA, nearly 35,0000 people are killed every year in car accidents. Millions more are seriously injured. It has been estimated that nearly 94% of car accidents are caused by human error. In particular, drivers often speed and don’t pay adequate attention to what’s in front of them. This is especially true during early morning and evening hours. It’s wise to slow down during this time due to decreased visibility.
When a driver is negligent and causes an accident any victims or their family may be able to seek compensation. A car accident attorney can evaluate all of the facts of your case and let you know what your rights are. An attorney can help you receive compensation for lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering. It’s important that victims file within the statute of limitations or they may lose their ability to pursue a claim.
