Pearblossom Bicycle Accident Injured Woman On Angeles Crest Highway By Mount Wilson Road 

PEARBLOSSOM, CALIFORNIA (September 3, 2019) – A woman was seriously injured in a bicycle accident on the Angeles Crest Highway by Mount Wilson Road. 

California Highway Patrol are saying that the car accident took place not far from Mile Marker 38.5. For reasons that remain under investigation, a car struck the woman while she was riding. 

The victim was ejected from her bicycle and had to be airlifted to a local hospital. There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident at this time.

According to the People Powered Movement, “Statistics show that while the overall number of bicycle accidents in the country is declining, the number of fatal bike accidents is on the rise. In 2015, there were 45,000 reported bicycle accidents in the United States, down from 50,000 reported accidents in the prior year.
