John Fitzpatrick San Diego: John Fitzpatrick Killed In San Diego Car Accident Along Mira Mesa Boulevard and Black Mountain Road In Mira Mesa
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (October 30, 2019) – An 87-year-old pedestrian identified as John Fitzpatrick has tragically died in a pedestrian accident along Black Mountain Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 6:25 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation John Fitzpatrick was hit by an Acura that was turning.
John Fitzpatrick was knocked to the ground and seriously injured. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving efforts he was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation remains ongoing at this time.
