Liability In Head-On Car Accidents
Head-on collisions are some of the most dangerous car accidents. Even at a low speed, a head-on collision can cause victims serious injury or lead to death. The majority of head-on collisions occur with drivers that are either fatigued or intoxicated. Occasionally, inclement weather can prevent a driver from being able to see clearly. If a driver crosses a double yellow line and collides with a vehicle they will likely face civil liability for the accident.
A victim that is injured has the ability to file a bodily injury claim in order to recover damages. Damages may include lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering. Head-on crashes typically put drivers out of work for many weeks or months at a time. A car accident attorney can help get you financial compensation after an accident and make sure that your medical bills are being taken care of.
