Anthony Silva Elk Grove: Anthony “Tony” Silva Jr. of Lodi Killed In Elk Grove Truck Accident While Riding Motorcycle On Interstate 5
ELK GROVE, CALIFORNIA (November 8, 2019) – A 63-year-old motorcyclist on a Harley Davidson identified as Anthony Silva Jr. was tragically killed in a semi-truck accident on the Interstate 5 freeway by Elk Grove Boulevard.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 2:23 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a Dodge pickup truck and Anthony Silva’s motorcycle collided.
Anthony Silva Jr. was ejected from his Harley Davidson motorcycle and thrown into the number 2 lane of the freeway. The victim was subsequently struck by the rear tires of a semi-truck.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help Anthony Silva. Despite life-saving measures he was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck involved in the collision remained at the scene.
