According to the Press Enterprise, two people died in a head-on car accident in San Jacinto on Thursday, November 16, 2017.
The car accident was reported around 4:30 p.m. when a 23-year-old Hemet man driving a 2007 Toyota Camry collided with a 24-year-old San Bernardino man in a 2010 Toyota Scion.
Both drivers of the vehicles died due to the severity of their injuries and each of their passengers sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital.
According to police, the Camry swerved into oncoming traffic, leading to a head-on crash with the Scion.
The driver of the Scion was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Camry was transported to Riverside University Health System Medical Center in Moreno Valley, where he later died.
The passenger of the Camry, described as a 47-year-old woman sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The passenger of the scion, described as a 27-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital. Her condition remains unknown.
The cause of the car accident remains under investigation.
