Two killed, one injured in Malibu car accident

According to ABC 7, two people were killed and another person was injured in a violent car accident involving a bicycle in Malibu on Friday, August 3, 2018.

The fatal car accident occurred around 12 p.m. near the intersection of Trancas Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, when a gray Mercury minivan and a red Dodge Ram collided. According to a witness, the minivan crashed into the barriers and collided head-on into the truck.

As a result, both drivers, who have not been identified, were killed in the car accident.

Due to the collision, a wheel from the truck involved fell off and injured a bicyclist, who was near the scene.

The bicyclist’s condition remains unknown.

The cause of the fatal car accident is suspected to have been speed; however, the collision remains under investigation.
