One Person Killed In Sunnyvale DUI Car Accident On Highway 237 By Highway 101
SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA (October 15, 2019) – One driver was killed in a DUI car accident on Highway 237 not far from Highway 101.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 5:03 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation two vehicles collided.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. Despite life-saving efforts the victim died due to his injuries.

It is illegal to operate a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol. According to California Vehicle Code 23152, “(a) It is unlawful for a person who is under the influence of any alcoholic beverage to drive a vehicle. (b) It is unlawful for a person who has 0.08 percent or more, by weight, of alcohol in his or her blood to drive a vehicle.” The family of any victim that died in a car accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
