SLEEPING CHILD SUFFERS FROM BROKEN BONES AFTER SUV CRASHES INTO 2 REDLANDS HOMES

According to the San Bernardino County Sun, a 20-year-old girl driving a Mercury Mountaineer crashed into two Redlands homes Friday morning, August 18, 2017, which sent a 10-year-old girl who was asleep in her bed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the 10-year-old girl suffered from broken bones.

According to authorities, the SUV went through a bathroom, two bedrooms, through walls, a fence and ended in a master bedroom of a home next-door just before 7 a.m. There were two more children with their mother in another room and one of those children suffered from minor injuries. One of the homes was red-tagged by city officials and the family was provided with a temporary place to stay. As for the driver of the SUV, who remains unidentified, she complained of pain; however, there are no updates of speed, drugs or alcohol as the cause of this incident.
