Multiple People Injured In Santa Ana Wrong Way DUI Car Accident On The Interstate 5 Freeway
SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA (June 9, 2019) – Multiple people were seriously injured in a head-on car accident with an allegedly intoxicated driver on the Interstate 5 freeway.
California Highway Patrol are saying that a 53-year-old driver was traveling the wrong direction on the Interstate 5 freeway in the carpool lane.
The suspect struck another car head-on at around 1:30 a.m. not far from First Street. A total of four people were in the car that was hit head-on.
They were all transported to the hospital with major injuries. The driver that hit them was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
