One Person Injured In San Marcos Hit-And-Run Car Accident On Highway 78 By Rancho Santa Fe Road
SAN MARCOS, CALIFORNIA (October 30, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a hit-and-run car accident on Highway 78 by Rancho Santa Fe Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 11:41 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a Pathfinder hit a Toyota Scion.
The Toyota Scion spun out of control before coming to a stop. The driver of the Pathfinder did not stop after the accident.

According to California Vehicle Code 20001, “The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to a person, other than himself or herself, or in the death of a person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident and shall fulfill the requirements of Sections 20003 and 20004.” Victims of hit-and-run accidents may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
