San Jose Scooter Accident: Scoter Rider Injured In Car Accident After Being Hit By Handicap Transport Van Along Bascom Avenue
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (March 3, 2019) – One person was injured in a scooter accident with a handicap transport van on Bascom Avenue on Thursday.
California Highway Patrol officials are saying that the accident took place around 3:34 p.m. Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene of the collision in order to help the scooter rider.
The driver of the handicap transport van remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. The victim may have been riding a Lime or Bird scooter.
