Liability In San Francisco Motorcycle Accidents
San Francisco has a beautiful landscape and it is one of the most pedestrian friendly cities in California. Many people choose never to buy a car. But San Francisco can also be particularly dangerous for pedestrians as well. Drivers have a responsibility to keep an eye out for pedestrians, cyclists and motorcycle riders. But far too often this does not happen. Left-turn accidents can be particularly hazardous to motorcycle riders. Drivers may not see a motorcycle as they are trying to avoid oncoming traffic.
Street design is also another major factor in pedestrian accidents. For example, Market Street and Fifth Street is a major area for accidents. Pedestrians not only have to navigate cars but trolleys as well. A city may be liable for an accident if a roadway was in a dangerous condition. It’s important to contact an experienced motorcycle accident attorney after a crash. They can take all the facts into consideration and conduct a thorough investigation into your case.
