CHP Motorcycle Officer Injured In Bay Bridge Car Accident On 80 Freeway In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA (August 14, 2019) – A California Highway Patrol officer was seriously injured in a car accident near the Bay Bridge Toll Plaza.
Officials are saying that the accident took place around 7:20 a.m. on Interstate 80. For reasons that remain under investigation, a maroon Kia collided with the CHP motorcycle officer.
Paramedics were called to help the victim. There is an ongoing investigation into the source of the the collision.
