Liability In School Bus Accidents
School bus drivers have a responsibility to operate their vehicle in a reasonably safe manner. For the most part buses are very safe. Other drivers tend to cause most bus accidents as opposed to the bus drivers themselves. Liability in motor vehicle accidents is determined on a comparative basis. A bus driver could be deemed partially at fault for an accident if they made an unsafe lane change. Any person that is injured in a bus accident will have the ability to file a personal injury claim against the driver deemed at fault.
