Liability In Truck Accidents
A fully loaded semi-truck can weigh over 80,000 lbs and cause serious injuries in the event of an accident. Truck drivers must therefore act with caution. The main problem is that trucks tend to have very large blind spots. Truck drivers might not see motorcyclists as they are making lane changes. If a truck driver was negligent and causes an accident they may face civil liability for the crash. Any person that is injured in a truck accident may be entitled to damages for lost wages, medical bills and pain and suffering.
