72-Year-Old Woman Critically Injured In San Diego Moped Accident Not Far From The Intersection of Meade Avenue and 38th Street
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (May 6, 2019) – A 72-year-old moped passenger was seriously injured in a hit and run crash that took place not far from the intersection of 38th Street and Mead Avenue.
San Diego police are saying that a 69-year-old man was riding on a moped with a 72-year-old woman. They were hit by a vehicle traveling north through the intersection.
The driver failed to yield the right of way and hit the victims before taking off. Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the woman on the moped to the hospital with critical injuries.
Police are still looking for the driver who is believed to have been in a Black SUV.
