Bicyclist Injured In San Diego Car Accident Along Beyer Boulevard
SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA (October 14, 2019) – A bicyclist was injured in a car accident along Beyer Boulevard on October 9th.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 11:35 a.m. The bicyclist was rear-ended by a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene.

According to California Vehicle Code 21200, “A person riding a bicycle or operating a pedicab upon a highway has all the rights and is subject to all the provisions applicable to the driver of a vehicle by this division, including, but not limited to, provisions concerning driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs, and by Division.” Any person that is injured in a bicycle accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
