Rajendra Prasad San Bruno: 70-Year-Old Man In A Wheelchair Tragically Died In Car Accident After Being Hit By Van While Crossing El Camino Real at Santa Lucia Avenue
SAN BRUNO, CALIFORNIA (January 10, 2018) – A 70-year-old man crossing the street in a wheelchair identified as Rajendra Prasad was tragically killed after he was hit by a van, according to NBC News.
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Officer is saying that Rajendra Prasad was in a wheelchair crossing El Camino Real at Santa Lucia Avenue.
A van that was traveling down El Camino Real around 6:00 a.m. hit the victim. Rajendra Prasad was transported to the hospital but later died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the van remained at the scene and was interviewed by the police.
