Bicyclist Injured In Sacramento Car Accident On Eastern Avenue and Alderwood Way
SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (October 14, 2019) – A bicyclist was injured in a car accident that took place along Eastern Avenue and Alderwood Way.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 1:59 p.m. For reasons that remain under investigation, a Blue Toyota Rav 4 collided with a bicyclist.
The driver of the Toyota remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim.

According to California Vehicle Code 21200, “A person riding a bicycle or operating a pedicab upon a highway has all the rights and is subject to all the provisions applicable to the driver of a vehicle by this division, including, but not limited to, provisions concerning driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages or drugs, and by Division 10.” Any person that is injured in a pedestrian accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
