Police Motorcycle Officer Injured In Riverside Car Accident By The Intersection of Adams Avenue and Auto Center Drive
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA (July 14, 2019) – A Riverside motorcycle police officer was injured in a car accident by the intersection of Adams Avenue and Auto Center Drive.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 3:45 p.m. not far from the 91 freeway. A sedan pulled in front of the Riverside motorcycle police officer.
Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the downed officer. He was then taken to the hospital.
An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.

According to California Vehicle Code 21804, “The driver of any vehicle about to enter or cross a highway from any public or private property, or from an alley, shall yield the right-of-way to all traffic, as defined in Section 620, approaching on the highway close enough to constitute an immediate hazard, and shall continue to yield the right-of-way to that traffic until he or she can proceed with reasonable safety.” Any person that is injured due to the negligence of another driver may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
