Liability In Motorcycle Accidents

All drivers have the responsibility to operate their vehicle accodring to the prevailing conditions. A number of motorcycle accidents take place when drivers make dangerous lane changes. According to California Vehicle Code 22107, “No person shall turn a vehicle from a direct course or move right or left upon a roadway until such movement can be made with reasonable safety and then only after the giving of an appropriate signal in the manner provided in this chapter in the event any other vehicle may be affected by the movement.”

Any person that is injured in a motorcycle accident may have the ability to collect damages through a bodily injury claim. A motorcycle accident attorney can examine all of the facts of your case and let you know what your legal options are. There are, however, statute of limitations associated with being able to pursue a claim, so it’s important to act quickly.
