Liability In Motorcycle Accidents
According to the Insurance Information Institute, “Motorcycles are by their nature far less crashworthy than closed vehicles. They are also less visible to other drivers and pedestrians and less stable than four-wheel vehicles. Operating a motorcycle requires a different combination of physical and mental skills than those used in driving four-wheel vehicles.” Many motorcycle accidents take place due to drivers that fail to see motorcycle riders.
Any person that is injured in a motorcycle accident due to the negligence of another driver may have legal recourse. Victims are able to recover damages through a bodily injury claim. Motorcycle riders often receive catastrophic injuries and high medical bills in the event of an accident. A motorcycle accident attorney can work on your behalf to get you the medical and financial support that you need. It doesn’t cost anything to hire an attorney and they only get paid if they are able to successfully resolve your case.
