Five People Injured In Placentia Car Accident By La Jolla Street and Melrose Avenue
PLACENTIA, CALIFORNIA (June 9, 2019) – Five people were seriously injured in a car accident by the intersection of La Jolla Street and Melrose Avenue.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 11:45 a.m. A police officer was injured after being broadsided with a Nissan Frontier.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene in order to help the victims. Several people had to be transported to the hospital.
An investigation into the cause of the accident remains ongoing at this point.
