Two Pedestrian Seriously Injured In Palm Springs Hit-And-Run Car Accident On Calle Encila

PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA (July 30, 2019) – Two pedestrians were seriously injured in a hit-and-run car accident along Calle Encila. 

California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 7:50 p.m. between Andreas and Amado roads. 

Two female pedestrians were crossing the road when the accident took place. Paramedics arrived at the scene and came across the two women laying in the roadway. 

Both victims were transported to the hospital in order to receive treatment.

All drivers must remain at the scene of an accident resulting in bodily injury. According to California Vehicle Code 20001, “The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to a person, other than himself or herself, or in the death of a person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident and shall fulfill the requirements of Sections 20003 and 20004.” Any person that is injured in a pedestrian accident can hold the negligent driver accountable through a bodily injury claim.
