One Person Killed In Palm Springs DUI Hit-And-Run Car Accident By Andreas Road and Amado Road
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA (August 16, 2019) – One person was killed in a DUI hit-and-run car accident by the intersection of Andreas Road and Amado Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the pedestrian was crossing the intersection around 7:50 p.m. The victim was hit by an 84-year-old driver in black sedan.
The crash took place right in front of the Agua Caliente Casino. Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital, but she tragically succumbed to her injuries 1 week later.

According to California Vehicle Code 20001, “The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to a person, other than himself or herself, or in the death of a person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident and shall fulfill the requirements of Sections 20003 and 20004.” The family of any victim hit by a drunk driver may be able to hold the negligent driver accountable through a civil claim.
