Mother Pushing Baby Stroller Seriously Injured In Otay Mesa West Car Accident On Palm Avenue
OTAY MESA WEST, CALIFORNIA (June 23, 2019) – A mother pushing a baby stroller was injured in a car accident on Palm Avenue.
San Diego police officials are saying that the accident took place on Saturday around 11:45 a.m. The 22-year-old woman was pushing her four month old son when she was hit by a Toyota Corolla.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla apparently lost control of his vehicle before striking the sidewalk. The car continued through the Gissom Street intersection before hitting the woman and her baby.
The baby escape serious injuries, but the mother sustained a leg injury and was transported to the hospital in order to undergo surgery. The cause of the car accident remains under investigation at this time.
