One seriously injured in Big Bear car vs. pedestrian accident

According to the Press Enterprise, a man was struck and critically injured by a vehicle in Big Bear on Sunday, December 17, 2017. The car vs. pedestrian accident occurred around 8:45 p.m., when a 41-year-old man was walking on the roadway on Thrush Drive and a man driving a Honda CRV struck him.

Paramedics were called to the scene, where they found the pedestrian lying in the street with major injuries. The victim was taken to a hospital by a helicopter and was listed in critical condition. The cause of the car vs. pedestrian accident remains unknown. The accident remains under investigation.
