Liability In Car Accidents Involving Workers
When a worker is injured in California they will have the ability to file a worker’s compensation claim. A worker’s compensation claim can help a worker recover damages for lost wages and medical bills. But it may not help a worker fully recover if they have been catastrophically injured. A third party negligence claim may be possible if an entity separate from a worker’s employer caused the accident. For example, a vehicle may swerve off the road due to a defective tire.
