Bicyclist Killed In Oakdale Car Accident On Fruitvale Avenue
OAKDALE, CALIFORNIA (October 15, 2019) – A bicyclist was tragically killed in a car accident along Fruitvale Avenue.
California Highway Patrol are saying that a 24-year-old man was riding southbound when he hit the open door of a Toyota Avalon.
The victim was thrown from his bicycle and then hit by a Dodge pickup truck. Paramedics were called to the scene in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving measures the victim was pronounced dead. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing at this time.
