According to the Daily Bulletin, a man died in a chain-reaction motorcycle crash on the 60 Freeway near Hacienda Heights on Sunday, September 17, 2017.
The crash occurred around 4:30 a.m.
The motorcyclist was riding a 2015 Harley-Davidson when he struck a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck that was stopped on the side of the road.
According to authorities, the Chevrolet pickup truck was stopped on the side of the road due to a previous crash. No one was inside the pickup truck at the time.
After the motorcycle slammed into the pickup truck, the rider slid across the lanes of the freeway and was struck by a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Sedan.
The motorcyclist died at the scene and has not been identified due to pending family notification.
