According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune, a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash that involved another vehicle in Temple City on Saturday, October 7, 2017.

The crash was reported around 11:55 a.m. on Rosemead Boulevard.

According to authorities, the motorcyclist was traveling north of Rosemead Boulevard when he collided with a car that was making a left turn into Sereno Drive.

The motorcyclist was seriously injured and taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.

The motorcyclist, estimated to be in his mid-20s, suffered a critical injury to his left leg. He was believed to have lost part of his leg, but he is expected to survive.

The driver of the other vehicle involved was not injured. He remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The crash remains under investigation.
