Kyle Hutchinson Mossbrae Falls: 33-Year-Old Pedestrian Identified As Kyle Hutchinson Was Injured In Union Pacific Train Accident Near Dunsmuir Along Shasta Retreat

MOSSBRAE FALLS, CALIFORNIA (February 19, 2019) – A 33-year-old man identified as Kyle Hutchinson was injured in a train accident not far from Dunsmuir.

California Highway Patrol are saying that the Union Pacific Train hit the victim around 11:00 a.m. First responders are saying that the conductor sounded the horn before the accident. 

Kyle Hutchinson say the train coming and was able to step off the railroad tracks. Some part of the train still clipped him and knocked him down. 

A helicopter was dispatched to the scene of the accident in order to take the victim to the hospital. He told authorities that he was unaware the railroad tracks were in use at the time. 

An investigation into the Union Pacific train accident remains ongoing.
