Mission Bay Boat Fire: Two People Seriously Injured In Mission Bay Boat Fire Accident By Dana Landing
MISSION BAY, CALIFORNIA (August 10, 2019) – Two people were seriously injured in a boat fire on the water near Dana Landing.
The fire started on a 30-foot cabin cruiser around 3:15 p.m. Two of the people on the boat had to be taken ashore and received treatment for burn injuries.
Both victims had to be taken to the UC San Diego’s burn unit in Hillcrest. Firefighters were eventually able to extinguish the fire by spraying the boat with a special foam.
An investigation into the cause of the boat fire remains ongoing at this time.
