One Woman Killed In DUI Car Accident In Mettler On Highway 99 and Copus Road
METTLER, CALIFORNIA (May 1, 2019) – A 27-year-old woman has tragically died after she was hit by an alleged DUI driver on Highway 99 by Copus Road.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 8:30 p.m. A man driving a 2008 BMW allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign.
He continued through the intersection and hit a 2016 Dodge Ram pickup that was headed east. A 27-year-old passenger in the pickup truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
