Mom, Two Children Injured In Marin Car Accident On Highway 101
MARIN, CALIFORNIA (September 18, 2019) – A 39-year-old mother and her two children were seriously injured in a car accident on Highway 101 near the St. Vincent exit.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 8:30 a.m. For reasons that remain under investigation a Toyota Forerunner lost control and traveled into opposing lanes of traffic.
The Toyota hit the car carrying the mother and her children causing the car to overturn and burst into flames. Good Samaritans were able to remove the woman and her two children from the car.
All three victims had to be taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The CHP is investigating if inclement weather may have contributed to the accident.
