Man struck in South L.A. pedestrian accident

Apr 16, 2018

According to ABC 7, a man was struck by a hit-and-run driver on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, while he was attending a vigil for his friend, who was fatally hit in another hit-and-run pedestrian accident in the same area in South L.A.

The hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred near the intersection of Normandie and Manchester avenues, when the driver of a gold Toyota sedan plowed through the vigil, striking 24-year-old Quatrell Stallings.

Stallings was an attendee at the vigil, showing his respect to his friend who was fatally struck in the same area almost 24 hours prior to the second pedestrian accident.

The pedestrian accident victim, Stallings, was able to limp towards the sidewalk, where other witnesses helped him.

The vehicle that struck Stallings was described as a tan four-door Toyota Avalon, with a California license plate, which is 8BUK639.

Stallings sustained head trauma, broken ribs, a broken leg, and a broken arm.

A GoFundMe account was created to help Stallings with his medical expenses if you would like to donate.

Our team at West Coast Trial Lawyers wishes Stallings a speedy recovery during this very difficult time.
