According to the San Bernardino Sun, a 34-year-old man was struck by a vehicle in a bicycle accident in Highland on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
The fatal bicycle accident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on Saturday, which caused the bicyclist’s death two days after. The bicyclist, identified as Brandon Mayberry of Redlands, died at 3:38 p.m.on Monday.
Mayberry was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet truck near Palm Avenue and Third Street.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene of the bicycle accident and cooperated with the police. The cause of the fatal bicycle accident remains under investigation.
