Pedestrian Killed In Malibu Car Accident on Pacific Coast Highway Near Pacifico Street
MALIBU, CALIFORNIA (September 30, 2019) – An elderly pedestrian has tragically died in a car accident that took place on Pacific Coast Highway and Pacifico Street.
California Highway Patrol are saying that the accident took place around 7:20 p.m. Paramedics rushed to the scene of the accident in order to help the victim.
Despite life-saving efforts the victim later died due to his injuries.

According to California Vehicle Code 21950, “The driver of a vehicle approaching a pedestrian within any marked or unmarked crosswalk shall exercise all due care and shall reduce the speed of the vehicle or take any other action relating to the operation of the vehicle as necessary to safeguard the safety of the pedestrian.” The family of any person that died in a pedestrian accident may have legal recourse through a bodily injury claim.
