According to the Long Beach Press Telegram, two people were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle accident, involving two city buses in Long Beach on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

The car vs. bus accident occurred around 12:35 p.m. near Spring Street and Bellflower Boulevard.

According to authorities, a Long Beach Transit bus had the right-of-way and was traveling through an intersection when a car hit it.

Due to the collision, the bus lost control and struck five other vehicles and another bus.

The driver that initially hit the bus was identified as an 84-year-old woman. She sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital.

The bus that was initially involved in the car vs. bus accident had seven passengers on it during the time of the collision. One of the passengers sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

The car vs. bus accident remains under investigation.
